WOAH! Where to even begin with Kyston and I’s wedding day? Needless to say, it was the HAPPIEST DAY of my life. I know people always say that – it is the cliche thing to say but people are not lying! I am not lying! Knowing that Kyston and I are sealed together for not only time, but all eternity is an incredible feeling and blessing. I love him so so much. He is my person. He is my guy. He is my soulmate, my best friend and the love of my life.
The morning started out early with my mom and I getting our hair and makeup done early! We were pretty tired considering the night before we had a mini-rehearsal dinner, a gift exchange between Kyston and I, and then spent some time finalizing last minute details. After our hair and makeup, we headed back to Provo to get dressed and head to the Provo City Center Temple. We met up with Kyston and my father there. Kyston and I were sealed together in the temple. Our sealing was everything and more. Our sealer was incredible. The spirit was so strong in the sealing room. We were surrounded by all of our loved ones physically and spiritually. Kyston and I were able to take a few moments in the sealing room after just the two of us. I will forever hold those moments and memories so close to my heart.
Walking out of the temple as husband and wife was incredible. I was beaming with JOY! I love him so much! We took a few photos around the temple with all of those there in attendance! After Kyston and I had some time to ourselves to just be together as husband and wife. We met up with our bridal party and families at the venue that afternoon. We took official family photos and then our ring ceremony began. My dad was our officiant. It was such an incredible experience to stand underneath the arch my dad built for us, with my father guiding Kyston and I as we exchange our vows. I am so in love with Kyston and only fall deeper in love with him every single day.
Following our ring ceremony was our dinner reception! Seeing all of our closest family and friends file into the venue was amazing! I loved our dinner reception and wouldn’t have had it any other way. Kyston and I loved going from table to table to welcome each attendant and have meaningful conversations with everyone there. The toasts from our parents, maid of honor, and best man were a highlight of the night. We did our cake cutting next! And then dancing. I absolutely loved my father/daughter dance, sang by a close friend Jess and then Kyston and I’s first dance – an acoustic version of “Sure Thing” by Miguel sang by our friend Dook. We had a dance party with all of our friends after and then headed out with a grand sparkler exit (how the groomsmen decorated the getaway car was SO FUNNY).
Our wedding day was so magical. It is crazy how so much builds and leads up to one day and then all in a flash it is over. I am so grateful Kyston and I took a little time with each event to just embrace the moment and soak it all in. I love finally being Mrs. Manuirirangi!
