On Wednesday of our honeymoon, we dedicated to venturing out to the nearby surfer town, Sayulita! I have been dying to go visit Sayulita for some time now. When we booked our Honeymoon I begged Kyston to let us go there and he had zero obligations against going!
With Kyston being fluent in Spanish (SO HELPFUL) we decided we felt comfortable taking the local bus from Puerto Vallarta to Sayulita. It was a smart, easy, and cheap decision for us. We had a blast walking around Sayulita. Seeing the bright colors everywhere and all the fun shops! We spent some time on the beach. We rented out a giant umbrella to catch a break from the hot sun. We loved swimming in the ocean and watching the surfers. We bought a few beaded bracelets we really like. After our time on the beach, we ate at another beachside restaurant, Don Pedros. This was both Kyston and I’s favorite meal of the trip! I had INCREDIBLE carne asada tacos and Kyston, raw authentic oysters! After dinner, we browsed through the shops again, had our second serving of gelato and then headed back to the bus stop.
We loved loved LOVED Sayulita!
