Today we started off seeing the ruins of Tel Hazor, the city Joshua conquered and destroyed because it was a wicked city. After we saw the Tel Dan ruins and hiked through the beautiful forest surrounding it. We then went to Caesarea Philippi and talked about Christ’s transfiguration that occurred here. This place was absolutely gorgeous and had so many beautiful springs that create the Jordan River.
We stopped by the Galilee LDS Branch House and visited a few branch members. It was crazy to here about how they have to be so secretive about their religious beliefs. They can’t invite friends to come to church with them because of the Israel government’s rules on proselytizing. As a result they have a very small branch and their youth group is like two kids. So to encourage the members I wrote on the white board in the kid classroom this message…
