A WEDDING IN PARIS

A WEDDING IN PARIS

Paris! A romantic wedding in Paris! One of my best friends was married to the love of her life in Paris, France. It was an incredible week and such a gorgeous wedding for the most beautiful couple! A few of the bridesmaids and I decided to all travel together. We all flew in separately and met up at our AirBnB in Paris. I flew in from Las Vegas and finally landed late Monday night. The following day, I met up with Lily for a fun day together. We had met up for brunch by the Eiffel Tower. Following that we headed over to see the new Dior exhibit at the modern museum by the Louvre. The Dior exhibit was incredible! The dresses seriously took my breath away! The high couture was incredible with each piece so thought through. Following the Dior exhibit we met up with Mary and Cole. From there we headed to Musee d'Orsay. My very favorite museum in the world. I was so happy to go to d'Orsay once again! We took our time at d'Orsay. Viewing all of the impressionism art. My heart was so so happy! I always get teary-eyed seeing Degas' ballet class series. No joke. From the museum, we headed over to Champs Elysse. We stopped by Lauduree for macaroons (a Paris must do) and then headed past the Arc de Triumph. From there we headed over to the Eiffel tower to capture a few iconic shots. After that we all met up at Le Relais de L’Entrecote for steak and fries. This is a local favorite and rightfully so. It was so delicious! And it is all you can eat so it was super tasty! After that we all headed over to the Latin quarter, got gelato and listened to the street musicians. We ended up right by the Notre Dame at night. So lovely! The next day we all woke up early and headed to our Bridesmaid Brunch at Angelina. OMG. Guys this hot chocolate was the most incredible thing I have ever tasted! It was so fun to dress up together as girls and see our bride! We loved our bridesmaid brunch and truly felt honored by the most gracious bride. After our brunch, we headed to Musee d' L'Orangerie to see Monet's lilies. This was actually my first time at this museum but definitely not my last! I just love impressionism if you can tell. From there we went home and got ready for our rehearsal dinner at Le Train Bleu. We had a traditional French meal with duck. After that was the bachelorette party we did a river cruise with Aman in the pouring rain. We just had fun getting soaked and dancing to Beyonce in the freezing cold. The next morning was Versaille.... Head to that post! xx, m.
