VIVA LAS VEGAS
Viva Las Vegas baby! Last weekend Kyston and I headed south for a St George / Las Vegas getaway trip. We jetted down right after I finished work and were able to get to St George early enough on Friday night to make it to Orange Peel before they closed *cue the cheers!* We kept the rest of the night low-key playing games with my family, swimming while overlooking the city lights and watching a movie together. The next day Kyston headed down to Las Vegas while I ran errands with my mom. My mom and I had planned a full mother/daughter day together and I was so excited to spend some time with her. We got massages, pedicures, did a little bit of shopping... she totally spoiled me! That night I headed down to Las Vegas to be with Kyston and a few of our friends. After dinner with his parents we met up with the group and headed down to the strip. Kyston's friend told us about the Chris Brown tickets he bought and that made us want to go so so badly. We were seconds from clicking the confirm button to purchase our tickets when suddenly the tickets were no longer available for sale online. We were legit bummed - I mean Chris Brown is sexy! Since we couldn't get tickets we decided to stop by Serendipity 3, check out a few shops at Caesar's Palace and walk the strip stopping at all the little shows along the way. Once we left the strip Kyston wanted to show me around Summerlin a bit. We stopped by his old high school, kissed in the parking lot (#lolz) and then headed up to his favorite spot that overlooks all of downtown Las Vegas. I've visited Vegas several times before but seeing it all through a local's eyes was a completely, and better, experience. Needless to say, our mini last-minute escape from Provo was absolutely perfect. xx, m. P.S. Ya ya I know low quality photos but like high quality memories right?
